EntilityStudio (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services, including our website (entilitystudio.com) and our CopyCat Clipboard application (the “App”). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the website or use the application.

1. Data Collection 

EntilityStudio:

• We do not collect personal information directly from our website visitors unless they contact us for support or inquiries.

CopyCat Clipboard:

• The App temporarily stores what users copy to facilitate syncing across devices. This data is deleted after a certain period.

• Files and other media are stored in the user’s own cloud storage provider (e.g., Google Drive). Only metadata about these files is uploaded to our server for syncing purposes and is also deleted after a certain period.

• No personal information, other than clipboard content for functional purposes, is collected.

Countorama:
Countorama collects only minimal user data necessary to provide counting functionality across projects. This may include:

• Count titles and description

• Timestamp data and counters

• Optional tags or categories

All data is stored locally on the user's device or optionally backed up via their own cloud storage solution. We do not collect or store any personal identifiers or count content on our servers  unless explicitly synced by the user.

CatBeam:

                CatBeam is a local, peer-to-peer device syncing application. Data handling is as follows:

• Device Discovery: CatBeam uses mDNS (multicast DNS) to discover nearby devices on the same local network. No device information is sent to external servers during this process.

• Clipboard Sync: Clipboard content is transferred directly between paired devices over the local network. Clipboard data is not uploaded to or routed through any external server.

• File Transfer: Files are sent directly between devices over a local connection. No files are uploaded to our servers.

• SMS & Call Relay: When enabled, SMS messages and call metadata (caller ID, call state) are relayed from the user's Android device to their paired Mac over the local network. This data is not stored on or transmitted through any external server.

• Notification Mirroring: App notifications from the user's Android device may be mirrored to their paired Mac. Notification content is transmitted directly between devices and is not collected or stored by us.

• No Personal Data Collection: CatBeam does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to EntilityStudio servers. All data exchange occurs locally between the user's own devices.

2. Data Usage 

EntilityStudio:

• Information collected from support inquiries is used solely to respond to the inquiry and provide support.

CopyCat Clipboard:

• The clipboard data is used solely to sync items across devices. We do not use this data for any other purposes such as marketing or analytics.

Countorama:

•  Countorama uses stored count data only to deliver in-app functionality. No data is used for profiling, marketing, or third-party analytics.

CatBeam:

All data transferred via CatBeam (clipboard content, files, SMS messages, call metadata, and notifications) is used solely to provide the local device-syncing functionality. No data is used for marketing, analytics, profiling, or any purpose other than delivering the core features of the application.

3. Data Sharing 

EntilityStudio and Apps (CopyCat Clipboard, Countorama,CatBeam):

• We do not share user data with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services 

EntilityStudio:

• We may use third-party analytics tools to understand website traffic and improve our services. No personal user data is collected.

CopyCat Clipboard:

• We use servers and databases for app functionality.

• We use telemetry analytics to monitor app performance and improvements, which do not include any user data.

Countorama:

• No third-party services are integrated for analytics or data sharing

CatBeam:

No third-party services are integrated for analytics, data sharing, or data collection. CatBeam operates entirely on the local network between the user's own devices.

5. Data Security:

EntilityStudio and CopyCat Clipboard:

• We secure data using SSL encryption for client-server communication.

CopyCat Clipboard:

• We have implemented secure object-level permissions to prevent any data leaks.

• Additionally, CopyCat Clipboard supports End-to-End encryption (E2EE), which is optional and disabled by default. Users can enable E2EE to ensure that their data remains private and secure, providing an additional layer of security. With E2EE, only you can access the data.

Countorama:

• All data is securely stored locally on the device

CatBeam:

• All data transfers between paired devices occur over the local network using encrypted communication channels.

• Device pairing requires mutual trust establishment — both devices must explicitly approve the connection before any data exchange can occur.

• No data is stored on external servers, eliminating server-side data breach risks.

6. Data Breaches 

EntilityStudio and CopyCat Clipboard:

• We take significant measures to prevent data breaches. Communication between the server and the client is encrypted, and old records are deleted from our servers after a specified period.

7. User Rights 

EntilityStudio:

• Users can contact us to access, modify, or delete any personal information provided through support inquiries.

CopyCat Clipboard:

• Users have full control over their data and can access, modify, or delete their clipboard items at any time through the app.

Countorama:

• Users can delete any or all count data within the app at any time. If synced externally, users should manage their own cloud storage backups.

CatBeam:

Users have full control over their data at all times. Users can:

• Unpair devices to immediately stop all data syncing.

• Clear synced clipboard history, SMS cache, and notification history from within the app.

• Revoke individual permissions (clipboard, SMS, calls, notifications, file transfer) at any time through the app or device settings.

8. Opt-Out Options 

EntilityStudio:

• Users can opt out of any marketing communications by contacting us directly.

CopyCat Clipboard:

• The app depends on collecting clipboard data to function. We do not collect any other privacy-related data.

CatBeam:

Users can selectively enable or disable individual features (clipboard sync, SMS relay, call relay, notification mirroring, file transfer) at any time. Disabling a feature immediately stops the associated data transfer. Users may also unpair devices entirely to cease all syncing.

9. Data Retention 

EntilityStudio:

• Data collected through support inquiries is retained as long as necessary to provide support and comply with legal obligations.

CopyCat Clipboard:

• We retain user data for a period ranging from 24 hours to 720 hours, depending on the user's subscription plan. After this period, the data is deleted from our servers. For files and media, we also delete them from cloud storage if their associated clipboard item is deleted.

Countorama:

• Data is retained locally and under the full control of the user. No automatic retention or deletion is enforced unless configured by the user.

CatBeam:

CatBeam does not retain any user data on external servers. All synced data (clipboard content, SMS messages, call logs, notifications) exists only on the user's paired devices and is subject to the user's own device storage and management. Users can clear cached data from within the app at any time.

10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies 

EntilityStudio:

• We do not use cookies or other tracking technologies on our website.

CopyCat Clipboard , Countorama and CatBeam:

• We do not use cookies or other tracking technologies in the app.

11. Children's Privacy 

EntilityStudio , CopyCat Clipboard , Countorama and CatBeam: 

• Our services, including the CopyCat Clipboard , Countorama and CatBeam , are not intended for children.

12. Policy Updates 

EntilityStudio ,CopyCat Clipboard , Countorama and CatBeam:

• Users will be notified of any changes to the privacy policy via email and our website (entilitystudio.com). By signing up for our services, users agree to receive important updates regarding the app, privacy policy, and terms and conditions.

• We ensure that our privacy policy and in-product privacy notifications are kept up to date regarding how our app uses Google user data.

13. Google User Data Compliance

• Our use of Google user data is limited to the practices disclosed in this privacy policy and conforms with Google’s Limited Use requirements. We ensure that all accesses, uses, storage, and sharing of Google user data are disclosed accurately.

14. Apple User Data Compliance

• Our use of Apple user data complies with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. We ensure that all accesses, uses, storage, and sharing of Apple user data adhere to the terms outlined in Apple’s agreement. 15. Use of Email Addresses

CopyCat Clipboard:

To provide the core functionality of syncing clipboard data across multiple devices, CopyCat Clipboard requires users to sign in with their email address. The email address is collected and used for the following specific purposes:

1. Syncing Across Devices: Your email address is essential for identifying and linking your clipboard data across different devices, ensuring that your data is seamlessly synchronized and accessible wherever you use the app.

2. Support Communication: In case you need assistance or support, your email address allows us to communicate directly with you to resolve any issues or answer any questions related to the application.

3. Release Updates: We may use your email address to notify you about important updates, new features, or enhancements related to the CopyCat Clipboard app.

Countorama:

• We do not require an email address for the use of Countorama 

   CatBeam:

   CatBeam does not require an email address or any account registration. Device pairing is performed locally over the network without the need for user accounts or personal identifiers.
